Exploring the Rituals and Heraldry of the OffWorld

The folklore I am creating is ever expanding and revealed to me with each new artefact I make.

Drawing inspiration from fantasy, science-fiction and folklore I am crafting objects that feel otherworldly, ancient and yet futuristic.

These sculptures have been made with the intention to be touched. Through physical contact the history and magic imbued within them comes to life.

First incarnation of the Crown

This circlet acts as a conduit of invented ceremony. The act of lifting this historically symbolic object onto the viewers head, physically brings them into this piece. Placed upon the head, the highest point of the body, it is impossible not to feel charged with the power of this artifact.

This first incarnation of the crown spurred me to explore this heraldic symbol in greater depth, and how this object would manifest in the OffWorld.
